New lawsuit out of touch with Wyoming's recreation future
As many of you might have seen, we recently released a statement on litigation filed against the Forest Service dealing with the the Palisades and Shoal Creek Wilderness Study Areas. The litigation, in a clear attempt to remove mountain bikes and ATV/OHVs from these areas to the benefit of the litigant, is harmful to everyone.
During a time in Wyoming when recreation is exploding, litigation like this is regrettable and out of sync with our future of our state. Below is a newscast by Wyoming State Daily outlining the positive trends we are seeing in recreation across the Cowboy state.
Lawsuits like the one filed by Mountain Pursuit harm the future of recreation in Wyoming and require long and expensive legal battles. AMPL stands opposed to this litigation and will continue to fight for all recreationists because we know our future is bright!
