ADVOCACY & POLICY
The Bridger-Teton National Forest is undergoing a Forest Plan Revision. This 2-3 year process will either positively or negatively impact recreation on our public lands. This process looks at the entire 3.4 million acres of Forest, forces land managers to evaluate current use, and develops a plan to fit current trends and the next 30-40 years. AMPL is participating in collaborative working groups, meeting with land managers, organizing with other nonprofits, and relying on our recreational community to help shape the future of public land use and ensure a bright future for multi-use recreation.
